Shadow Warrior

Shadow Warrior is a fast and irreverent first-person shooter starring Lo Wang, a wisecracking warrior armed with everything from conventional firearms to a rather memorable sword. The game combines traditional run-and-gun action with exaggerated humor, colorful enemies and a distinctly over-the-top interpretation of ninja culture. Levels are packed with secrets, weapons and enemies, while the protagonist's constant commentary ensures that subtlety is rarely invited to the party. The combination of ranged weapons and close combat gives encounters some variety, and the old-school level design rewards players who explore rather than simply sprint toward the exit. Shadow Warrior is very much a product of its era, but that is part of its charm. It is loud, ridiculous, occasionally crude and completely committed to having fun.
