Strange Adventures in Infinite Space is a compact space exploration game where each new journey generates a different adventure. You command a small spaceship, explore an unknown galaxy, discover planets and strange phenomena, encounter alien civilizations and collect equipment while working toward the completion of your mission. The procedurally generated universe means no two expeditions are exactly alike, making exploration and experimentation central to the experience. Battles, discoveries and unexpected events can all change the course of a run, while the relatively short sessions make it easy to play repeatedly. Strange Adventures in Infinite Space is an excellent example of how procedural generation can create replayability without requiring an enormous game world. It offers an entire galaxy, yet somehow manages to make the journey feel like a wonderfully compact adventure.
