Clicker Heroes

Clicker Heroes is the game that asks a profound philosophical question: what if defeating monsters could be accomplished mainly by clicking repeatedly and occasionally spending money earned from clicking repeatedly? The answer, surprisingly, is extremely addictive. You begin by attacking enemies manually, then gradually recruit heroes, automate damage and build increasingly absurd numbers while watching your progress accelerate. It is deliberately simple, but its clever progression systems make stopping far harder than it has any right to be. Before long, you are managing upgrades, calculating efficiencies and checking your heroes as though running a small corporation whose only product is monster-related financial ruin.
