VoxeLibre is a free and open-source voxel sandbox game inspired by the block-building survival formula popularized by Minecraft. Formerly known as MineClone2, the project provides a familiar world of blocks, crafting, exploration, construction and survival while remaining independent and community-driven. Players can gather resources, build structures, explore generated landscapes and experiment with the many possibilities offered by a world that is essentially made from very determined cubes. Developed by Wuzzy and the wider community, VoxeLibre continues the long tradition of open-source projects recreating and expanding familiar gaming ideas. Released in 2026, it offers a particularly accessible choice for anyone who enjoys sandbox games but prefers software that can be freely explored, modified and developed by its community.
