Warsow

Warsow is a fast multiplayer first-person shooter inspired by the classic arena shooters of the 1990s, but with an energetic visual style and movement system of its own. Developed by the Warsow Team, it emphasizes speed, precision and mobility rather than slow tactical firefights. Players can bunny-hop, dash, wall-jump and generally move around the map as though gravity were merely a suggestion. The game's cartoon-like presentation contrasts nicely with the seriously competitive gameplay underneath. Matches are frantic, weapons are powerful and standing still is usually an excellent way to become someone else's target. Fans of Quake-style shooters will feel immediately at home, while newcomers may need a little practice before their character stops looking like a confused tourist bouncing around the arena.
