Universal Combat

Universal Combat is a large-scale science-fiction combat game that combines space simulation, ground combat, vehicles, and tactical missions into one ambitious package. Players can pilot spacecraft, operate vehicles, take part in planetary battles, and move between different types of combat situations within a persistent-feeling futuristic universe. The game aims for a broad simulation experience rather than a narrowly focused arcade shooter, giving players plenty of systems and equipment to learn. Its complexity can be intimidating, but that depth is also the main attraction for players who enjoy games that let them experiment with different roles. Universal Combat feels like several science-fiction games attempting to occupy the same cockpit, which is either gloriously ambitious or a very efficient way to keep you busy for months.
