Shakes & Fidget

Shakes & Fidget is a humorous browser RPG that turns fantasy adventuring into a colorful parody of the genre. You create a character, choose a class, complete quests, fight monsters, collect equipment and gradually improve your hero, but everything is presented with a generous helping of comedy. The exaggerated artwork and deliberately silly writing make fun of familiar RPG clichés, from heroic characters to absurd quests and suspiciously enthusiastic tavern life. Progression is designed around regular activities and character development, making it easy to return to the game for short sessions. Shakes & Fidget does not take the fantasy RPG formula particularly seriously, and that is precisely the point. It is a lighthearted alternative for anyone who thinks saving the kingdom should involve considerably more jokes.
