DC Universe Online

DC Universe Online is a massively multiplayer action RPG launched in 2011, developed by Daybreak Games and set in the superhero universe of DC Comics. Instead of merely watching Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and company save the day, players get to create their own superhero or villain and join the chaos personally. Combat is more action-oriented than the traditional menu-driven MMO approach, while missions, powers, equipment, and character progression provide plenty of reasons to keep playing. The setting is packed with familiar faces and locations, making it particularly appealing to comic-book fans. Naturally, saving the world becomes much easier once you have fashionable superpowers.
