Freeminer

Freeminer is an open-source sandbox game heavily inspired by Minecraft, but with a decidedly more free-form approach. You can dig, build, explore, craft and generally spend an unreasonable amount of time wondering what you were supposed to be doing in the first place. The blocky world is yours to reshape, whether you prefer constructing elaborate buildings or simply digging a very deep hole because, well, why not? It may not have the polish of its famous inspiration, but Freeminer offers plenty of room for experimentation and old-school sandbox fun without asking your wallet for permission.
