The Adventures of Nick & Willikins
The Adventures of Nick & Willikins is a humorous point-and-click adventure featuring two unlikely heroes caught up in a strange and entertaining situation. Players explore environments, interact with characters, collect objects and solve traditional inventory-based puzzles while following the story. The game uses the classic adventure formula of examining everything, trying combinations that make little sense and occasionally discovering that the apparently useless object you picked up half an hour ago is suddenly essential. Its presentation emphasizes comedy and quirky situations rather than dramatic seriousness. The Adventures of Nick & Willikins is a good choice for fans of independent adventure games with a lighthearted tone and traditional mechanics. If you enjoy old-school adventures, you already know the golden rule: when completely stuck, try using every object on every other object. Logic can wait.
“The Adventures of Nick & Willikins is a humorous look at the very British relationship of Master and Manservant as told through the lens of clueless non-British writers. Also, there's a dead body involved.” - Pinhead Games
