Samorost 1 is the charming debut of Amanita Design's distinctive adventure style, presenting a tiny surreal world filled with strange creatures, curious machines and beautifully illustrated environments. The player controls a small character who must explore each scene, click on objects and figure out how the environment works in order to progress. There is no traditional inventory stuffed with random objects; instead, the puzzles are built around observing the screen and discovering what can be interacted with.
