Realm of the Mad God Exalt

Realm of the Mad God Exalt throws traditional MMORPG conventions into a blender and then adds permadeath for good measure. The result is a fast-paced online action RPG where players fight monsters, collect equipment, develop characters and explore dangerous environments while knowing that a single unfortunate death can end a character's career permanently. Combat is immediate and relies heavily on movement and positioning, giving the game a frantic arcade-like quality rather than the slower rhythm of many traditional MMORPGs. Hundreds of players can share the same world, creating plenty of chaotic encounters and cooperative moments. The constant danger makes progression exciting because every new piece of equipment feels valuable. It is an MMORPG where 'take it easy' is probably not advice you should follow.
