Missile Wave 2

Missile Wave 2 is a compact arcade-style game from S64 Games that puts you in the unenviable position of dealing with an incoming storm of missiles. The concept is wonderfully straightforward: survive the waves, react quickly and try not to become an expensive collection of pixels. Gameplay focuses on reflexes and positioning, with successive attacks putting increasing pressure on your ability to anticipate what is coming next. There is little unnecessary decoration here, which suits the arcade philosophy nicely. It is easy to understand within seconds, but surviving for a respectable amount of time is another matter entirely. Missile Wave 2 is the kind of freeware title that works perfectly for quick sessions when you just want something uncomplicated and mildly stressful.
