Maze of Galious is an impressive fan-made adaptation of the classic Japanese action-adventure originally known from the MSX era. Rather than simply reproducing the old game, this version brings its labyrinthine exploration and arcade-style combat to modern computers while retaining the peculiar charm of the source material. You explore a sprawling world, fight enemies, collect useful items and gradually open up areas that were previously out of reach. The maze structure encourages curiosity, although it occasionally seems designed by someone who has a personal grudge against your sense of direction.
