Factorium

Factorium is an independent project from Lazy Brain Games centered around machinery, production, and the satisfying business of making complicated things work. Like other factory-building games, it appeals to the part of the brain that looks at a pile of resources and immediately thinks, “This could be automated.” Players are encouraged to build systems, organize production, and solve logistical problems while gradually creating something much more elaborate than the humble starting point suggests. The exact mechanics may be less familiar than those of the genre giants, but the basic attraction is timeless: construct an increasingly ridiculous industrial machine and then spend far too long making sure one tiny component does not bring the entire operation to a halt.
