Wakfu

Wakfu is a colorful tactical MMORPG from Ankama Studio set in the same universe as Dofus, combining turn-based combat, exploration, crafting and a surprisingly complicated political system. Players create a character, develop abilities and travel through a lively fantasy world filled with monsters, quests and other adventurers. Combat takes place on a grid, so simply charging toward the nearest enemy is not always the cleverest approach, although it remains a perfectly respectable tradition. The game also places considerable emphasis on professions and the player-driven economy, giving it more depth than its cheerful appearance might suggest. With its distinctive cartoon-inspired art style and unusual mixture of MMO and tactical RPG elements, Wakfu offers a refreshing alternative to more conventional fantasy online worlds.
