Soda Dungeon 2 expands the original formula with more exploration, character development, crafting and dungeon crawling, while keeping the wonderfully silly soda-powered premise intact. You recruit adventurers, equip them, send them into dangerous locations and gradually build a stronger team capable of reaching deeper areas. The game adds more systems and customization options, giving players additional ways to improve their party and manage progression. As before, much of the appeal comes from watching a modest group of adventurers gradually become an absurdly powerful collection of fantasy troublemakers. The humor keeps the experience light, while the incremental progression provides plenty of reasons to return. Soda Dungeon 2 demonstrates that sometimes the difference between an ordinary tavern and a legendary adventuring headquarters is simply having enough fizzy drinks.
