NSFWSmite is a multiplayer online battle arena that puts players directly behind the eyes of mythological gods rather than viewing the battlefield from the traditional overhead perspective. Teams battle across different arenas, combining individual abilities, teamwork and tactical positioning to destroy enemy objectives. The roster draws from mythology around the world, allowing characters inspired by Greek, Norse, Egyptian and other traditions to fight in spectacularly unlikely combinations. Each god has distinctive abilities and a particular role, so learning how to use them effectively is an important part of the game. The third-person perspective gives combat a more immediate feel than many MOBAs. Smite is what happens when someone asks, 'What if ancient mythology settled its disagreements with team-based competitive combat?' Apparently, quite a lot of explosions.
