Shoot First

Shoot First is a compact arcade shooter built around quick reactions and the timeless videogame principle that hesitation is probably bad for your health. The gameplay puts the emphasis on aiming, movement and surviving waves of enemies while attempting to achieve the highest score possible. Its relatively simple presentation allows the action to remain clear, while increasing difficulty provides the usual temptation to restart immediately after a particularly embarrassing failure. There is little unnecessary complexity here, making the game easy to understand and suitable for short sessions. Shoot First fits comfortably into the tradition of small freeware action games where the objective is obvious and the challenge comes from execution. Sometimes you do not need a huge campaign; you just need enemies, ammunition and questionable confidence.
