Secret Maryo Chronicles

Secret Maryo Chronicles is a free and open-source platform game inspired by the classic side-scrolling adventures of Nintendo's famous plumber. Players guide a colorful hero through levels filled with platforms, enemies, obstacles and collectible items, with the emphasis firmly placed on traditional jumping and running action. Released in 2009, the project offers a substantial tribute to the 2D platformers of the 8-bit and 16-bit eras while adding its own characters, graphics and level designs.
