Robbo

Robbo is a charming puzzle game starring a small robot who has the unfortunate job of navigating hazardous environments filled with obstacles, enemies and traps. Each level is essentially a compact mechanical puzzle, requiring careful movement and a bit of experimentation to figure out how the various elements interact. The simple graphics give the game an appealing retro character, while the increasingly tricky layouts provide plenty of opportunities for the classic puzzle-game experience of solving a problem and immediately wondering how you managed to miss the obvious solution. Progress depends more on thought than reflexes, although patience certainly helps when a level refuses to cooperate. Robbo is a neat example of how a handful of simple rules can produce surprisingly entertaining and occasionally devious puzzles.
