Return of Dr. Destructo brings back the classic arcade idea of causing as much trouble as possible while keeping the controls simple and the action moving. You take control of the wonderfully named Dr. Destructo and face a series of challenges that reward quick reactions, careful movement and a willingness to experiment. The retro-inspired presentation gives the game an intentionally old-school personality, while the compact design makes it easy to pick up for a quick session. There is a pleasing sense of chaos to the whole affair, as though someone decided that subtlety was overrated and gave the protagonist a license to cause problems.
