Lure of the temptress

Lure of the Temptress is a classic point-and-click adventure from Revolution Software, set in a medieval world ruled by the mysterious and sinister sorceress Selena. The protagonist, Diermot, becomes involved in a conspiracy after being captured and must explore the town, interact with its inhabitants and solve puzzles to uncover what is really happening. The game is notable for its distinctive visual style, atmospheric setting and intelligent use of characters who continue following their own routines rather than simply waiting for the player to click on them. As with many adventures of its era, progress depends heavily on experimentation and occasionally questionable object combinations. Fortunately, trying everything on everything is considered perfectly respectable adventuring technique.
