Geometry May

Geometry May is a colorful arcade-style game from PixelGreeds built around geometric shapes, movement and quick reactions. Its minimalist visual approach puts the gameplay first, using simple forms rather than elaborate characters or detailed environments. That does not necessarily make things easier: abstract graphics have a sneaky habit of hiding surprisingly demanding challenges behind their innocent appearance. The game is suited to players who enjoy compact experiences where understanding the mechanics is more important than following a long story. There is something pleasantly refreshing about a game that does not require you to remember the family tree of twelve fictional kingdoms before letting you start playing. Geometry May is small, direct and a good example of experimental indie design.

“This game is a small and somewhat late New Year present for those who follow my works. I think the game can't be called casual, but neither it's hard. Difficulty increases with every stage, but you don't have to beat the whole game to unlock all pictures.” - PixelGreeds
