Clyde's Revenge

Clyde's Revenge brings Clyde back for another round of platforming trouble, proving once again that surviving one adventure is apparently not enough. The sequel builds on the familiar formula with new stages, enemies and hazards, offering another dose of traditional side-scrolling action. The appeal lies in its simplicity: move, jump, avoid unpleasant surprises and collect whatever happens to be lying around. There is no complicated character sheet to maintain and no enormous lore archive demanding homework before you begin. It is pure retro platforming, with the slightly unforgiving design that was common in the period. For fans of obscure PC platformers, Clyde's second outing is a neat little curiosity.
