Clyde's Adventure

Clyde's Adventure is a cheerful platformer starring Clyde, a small hero who has apparently decided that wandering through dangerous levels is a perfectly reasonable way to spend his afternoon. The game follows familiar platforming traditions, with enemies, obstacles, collectibles and plenty of opportunities to discover that the apparently harmless object in front of you is, in fact, lethal. Its colourful presentation and straightforward controls give it an unmistakable early-'90s computer-game personality. It may not reinvent the genre, but that was never really the point. Clyde's Adventure is best approached as a charming slice of old-school platforming, where progress depends on timing, persistence and remembering which things tried to kill you last time.
