TripleA is a turn-based strategy game inspired by classic board games about global warfare and territorial conquest. Players control nations, move armies, manage economies, and attempt to outmaneuver their opponents across large maps representing different historical and fictional conflicts. Although the basic concept is easy to understand, the combination of production, movement, combat, and diplomacy can lead to surprisingly complicated decisions. The open-source project also supports numerous maps and scenarios, giving it considerably more variety than its modest appearance might suggest. TripleA is particularly appealing to strategy fans who enjoy planning several moves ahead and watching carefully constructed campaigns descend into glorious international chaos.
