Sword of Fargoal remake

Sword of Fargoal remake brings the classic Commodore 64 dungeon adventure back to Windows, keeping the basic roguelike formula while giving it a more modern presentation. You enter a maze-like dungeon, search for treasure and try to survive long enough to find the Sword of Fargoal. Naturally, the dungeon is not especially interested in helping you with this plan, so monsters, darkness and limited resources tend to get in the way. Exploration is deliberately simple but addictive, with that wonderful old-school combination of curiosity and mild panic. It is the sort of game where you can confidently say “I'll just explore one more room” and then discover that an hour has mysteriously disappeared.
