Playhouse Strip Poker

NSFWPlayhouse Strip Poker is an adult-oriented poker game from the late 1980s that combines traditional card play with the classic strip-poker novelty concept. The rules are based on familiar poker mechanics, but the real objective is obviously not to build a championship résumé. Players compete against opponents while attempting to win hands and gradually change the amount of clothing involved in the match. Its early computer-game presentation is necessarily simple, making it more interesting today as a curiosity from the history of adult software than as a sophisticated poker simulation. It belongs to an era when developers were remarkably willing to attach “strip” to almost any familiar activity and call the result a game. Poker was apparently no exception.
