Goodgame Empire

Goodgame Empire is a browser-based medieval strategy game in which you build a castle, expand your territory, gather resources and attempt to become considerably more powerful than your neighbors. As usual in these games, “peaceful kingdom” is a temporary condition rather than a permanent objective. You manage buildings, armies and economic resources while dealing with other players and the inevitable temptation to expand just one more time. The accessible interface makes the basic concepts easy to understand, but there is considerable depth in managing an empire efficiently and deciding when to attack, defend or negotiate. Its persistent online structure means your kingdom continues to exist beyond individual gaming sessions. For fans of browser strategy, it offers a familiar mixture of planning, competition and medieval ambition.
