Das Uberleben

Das Uberleben is an unusual independent game associated with TeknoPants, built around the simple but wonderfully open-ended idea of surviving in a hostile environment. Rather than relying on a massive cinematic presentation, it puts emphasis on gameplay and the basic human requirement of not dying horribly. The title itself hints at survival, and that is very much the point: exploration, danger, and resourcefulness become more important than flashy spectacle. Its experimental nature gives it the feel of a small project created because somebody had an idea and simply decided to make it happen. Sometimes that is exactly where the weirdest and most interesting games come from.
