Crossout

Crossout throws players into a post-apocalyptic world where the sensible response to civilisation collapsing is apparently to build an armoured vehicle out of whatever scrap happens to be available and then drive it directly at someone else's armoured vehicle. Developed by Targem Games, it combines vehicular combat with extensive construction and customisation. Vehicles can be rebuilt with different weapons, armour and components, meaning the garage becomes almost as important as the battlefield. The multiplayer battles provide the real spectacle, especially when carefully engineered machines collide in ways their designers definitely did not anticipate. It is chaotic, creative and occasionally ridiculous, which is exactly what a post-apocalyptic car-combat game should be.
