Best free "comedy" games

Comedy games are built around one simple objective: making the player laugh, preferably before something explodes. The humor can come from ridiculous situations, eccentric characters, clever dialogue, absurd storytelling, silly physics, or satire aimed at just about anything. Some games go for pure slapstick, while others rely on dry wit, parody, dark humor, or wonderfully stupid ideas that somehow work. Comedy can fit almost any genre, appearing in point-and-click adventures, RPGs, simulators, strategy games, and even games that have no business being funny in the first place. Free and indie developers have plenty of room to experiment, often producing games where unexpected jokes and bizarre situations become the main attraction. If you enjoy games that don't take themselves too seriously, expect plenty of strange characters, questionable decisions, and moments that make you wonder who thought this was a good idea.
