Teeworlds

Teeworlds is a fast-paced multiplayer action game featuring small cartoon-like characters armed with guns, hammers and an impressive ability to swing around the map using grappling hooks. Matches are generally short and energetic, with players fighting across compact arenas while completing objectives or simply trying to eliminate the opposition. Movement is a major part of the gameplay, and mastering the hook can turn an ordinary player into a surprisingly difficult target. The simple graphics keep the focus firmly on action and physics, while the open multiplayer design encourages experimentation and community-created content. Teeworlds is easy to pick up but offers plenty of room for skillful play. Its greatest lesson may be that giving tiny cartoon characters grappling hooks was probably one of the better decisions ever made by a multiplayer game designer.
