Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon

Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon is a cinematic adventure from Cinemaware that puts the legendary sailor in a colorful fantasy world filled with exploration, action and danger. Sinbad must travel across a series of locations while dealing with enemies and working toward the recovery of a stolen throne. The game combines different styles of play rather than sticking to a single genre, reflecting Cinemaware's fascination with interactive movies and dramatic presentation. Its mixture of arcade action, exploration and fantasy storytelling gives it a distinctive character compared with more conventional games of the period. Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon is a fascinating piece of late-1980s gaming history, especially for players interested in the era when developers were enthusiastically experimenting with ways to make computers behave like tiny movie theaters.
