Lost Lands: Mahjong

Lost Lands: Mahjong takes the familiar solitaire-style Mahjong formula and places it inside the fantasy world of the Lost Lands series. Players solve tile layouts by matching available pairs, gradually clearing increasingly elaborate boards while progressing through the surrounding adventure. The rules are simple, but the layouts can become surprisingly challenging when useful tiles are buried underneath everything you actually need. The game combines puzzle sessions with exploration and story elements, giving the classic tile-matching format a little more context than a traditional Mahjong application. It is a relaxed alternative to more frantic games, although there is still a particular satisfaction in clearing a difficult board. Apparently saving a fantasy world can occasionally be accomplished one Mahjong pair at a time.
