Legends of Honor

Legends of Honor is a browser-based medieval strategy game where players build settlements, gather resources, train armies and compete for influence in a persistent online world. The familiar strategy-game formula is here in full: expand your territory, improve your economy, strengthen your defenses and keep an eye on neighboring players, who are presumably doing exactly the same thing. Alliances and warfare add a social layer, turning what begins as a modest settlement into a larger political and military enterprise. Progress is gradual, encouraging long-term planning rather than frantic button pressing. Naturally, the moment you become comfortable with your peaceful little kingdom is probably when somebody decides it would look better under their flag.
