Dark Oberon

Dark Oberon is a free real-time strategy game developed by a team at Charles University in Prague and released in 2005. Inspired by classic fantasy strategy games, it lets players gather resources, construct buildings, produce units, and fight across maps filled with magical creatures and hostile armies. The game uses a distinctive three-dimensional presentation while keeping the familiar strategic foundations of resource management and battlefield control. It may not have the enormous production values of commercial RTS giants, but it has plenty of personality and an admirable willingness to experiment. As usual in strategy games, everything seems perfectly under control until an enemy army appears at your front door.
