Part collectible card game, part tactical RPG, Card Hunter (2015) is basically Dungeons & Dragons reimagined through a stack of cards and a very sarcastic dungeon master. You build decks, battle monsters, and squabble over loot, all while your in-game GM offers passive-aggressive commentary. It’s charming, tongue-in-cheek, and weirdly strategic. One moment you’re celebrating a glorious victory, the next you’re cursing because your deck gave you nothing but useless cards. It’s tabletop role-playing distilled into a browser window, with all the joy and frustration intact.
