Batheo by Clap Along is one of those browser-based strategy games where you start out feeling like a powerful general and end up realizing you’re basically clicking on timers. Mixing Greek mythology, tactical battles, and free-to-play mechanics, it’s a blend of mythology and microtransactions. You recruit legendary heroes, fight mythic beasts, and then wait… and wait… and wait. Still, there’s something oddly satisfying about assembling an army of gods and sending them off to do your bidding.
