Adventure games are video games in which the player follows an interactive story, solves puzzles and explores the scenery in order to progress the story and finish the game. The emphasis of an adventure game is on the narrative content, represented by graphics (hand drawn 2D, polygonal 3D) or, in interactive fiction games, text-based.
